Virginia’s Governor is OK with infanticide but is not OK with the death penalty unless it’s for babies. Seceding would diminish Virginia’s representation in the Congress. That may be an argument FOR leaving. However, I believe it would be better to stand their ground and bring more arguments to the rest of the state.
