HISTORIC-Israel’s Begins Flow of Natural Gas Directly to Egypt

Israel begins exporting natural gas to Egypt in what is expected to be a multibillion-dollar deal; This comes just weeks after Israel’s Leviathan oil field began producing natural gas; Steinitz: a historic milestone for the State of Israel.

On Wednesday, Israel began sending natural gas directly to Egypt in a highly anticipated deal that is expected to be worth tens of billions of dollars (close to $20 billion). This comes just weeks after Israel’s Leviathan oil field began to produce gas. Like Jordan, Egypt, who was once an ardent enemy of Israel, is now a primary customer.

Egypt & Israel released a joint statement on Wednesday calling the gas deal “an important development that will serve the economic interests of both sides… The step will both enable Israel to export some of its natural gas to the region via Egypt’s gas liquefaction plants, and promote Egypt’s status as a regional gas hub.” Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz called the deal “a historic milestone for the State of Israel.”

Israel is becoming more of an economic powerhouse in the Middle East every day. Not only do they have multiple significant oil fields on the Mediterranean coast that allow them to supply oil directly to all of their domestic consumers, but they are now exporting oil to Egypt & Jordan. On top of that, they just signed another economically significant deal with Greece and Cyprus that will allow them to send gas to southern Europe via an underwater pipeline called the EastMed Pipeline.

This unprecedented economic boost that Israel and its allies are enjoying the benefits of is not going unnoticed by those who oppose them. The EastMed pipeline is dealing a huge blow to Russia’s oil market and it’s bypassing Turkey’s determination to control oil that can be found in Cyprian waters. Russia and Turkey’s respective economies are struggling, make no mistake about it. When the Ezekiel invasion happens, their motive is stated to be economic in nature. Those protesting, but not acting on Israel’s behalf, could very possibly be the nations that are benefiting from their friendship with Israel, and they see those benefits (i.e. direct supply on natural gas) at stake.

As Israel continues to blossom economically, are we witnessing the hook of Ezekiel 38 being set in the jaw of Gog?

FISA Court Picks Critic of Nunes’s FISA Memo to Help Oversee FBI Reform

Former Department of Justice (DOJ) official David Kris was picked by the FISA surveillance court to help evaluate FBI surveillance reforms initiated after the DOJ’s inspector general revealed numerous issues with a FISA warrant secured against former Trump 2016 presidential campaign aide Carter Page.

Kris served in the Obama administration as the head of the DOJ’s National Security Division, which oversees intelligence collection under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). He’s been an outspoken supporter of impeaching President Donald Trump and repeatedly criticized Rep. Devin Nunes (R-N.C.) for a 2018 memo that alleged FISA abuse by the FBI in connection with the Page warrant.

In response to the report by IG Michael Horowitz, the FISA court ordered the FBI on Dec. 17, 2019, to explain what the bureau has done or will do “to ensure the accuracy and completeness of” its FISA applications.

The FBI “provided false information” and “withheld material information” from the DOJ, the report stated, adding that when FBI personnel do so, they “equally mislead” the FISA court (pdf).

FBI Director Christopher Wray responded on Jan. 10 (pdf), expressing regret over the problems with the Page warrant, and committed to a series of process changes.

That day, presiding FISA Judge James Boasberg appointed Kris to “serve as amicus curiae … to assist the Court in assessing the government’s response to the December 17, 2019, Order.”

Boasberg said, “The amicus curiae is invited to submit written views regarding the government’s submission by January 31, 2020.”

Nunes Memo Criticism

Several issues with the Page FISA warrant were highlighted by Nunes in his Jan. 18, 2018, memo, including that the warrant relied heavily on the Steele dossier, a collection of unsubstantiated claims about Trump-Russia collusion put together by former British spy Christopher Steele. Nunes pointed out that the FBI mostly didn’t or couldn’t corroborate the dossier and the warrant didn’t mention that Steele was paid for his work, through intermediaries, by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the campaign of Trump’s then-opponent for the presidency, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (pdf).

Kris called the Nunes memo “dishonest” in a March 1, 2018, essay on Lawfare, a blog operated by the Brookings Institute, where Kris serves as a contributing editor and one of the directors.

He noted that the FISA application disclosed in a lengthy footnote that Steele was paid by “a known U.S. person” (Glenn Simpson, co-founder of opposition research firm Fusion GPS), who was, in turn, paid by a “U.S. law firm” (Perkins Coie).

The application also stated:

“The FBI speculates that [Simpson] was likely looking for information that could be used to discredit [Trump’s] campaign.”

The Nunes memo left out that the FBI had mentioned this.

“Had the FBI done in its FISA applications what Nunes did in his memo, heads would have rolled on Pennsylvania Avenue,” Kris wrote, calling for “consequences” for Nunes.

Kris argued that what the warrant disclosed “amply satisfies the requirements” and “enabled the court to take Steele’s information with a grain of salt.”

He didn’t address why the warrant omitted the fact that Perkins Coie was paid by the Clinton campaign and the DNC or at least the fact that Perkins Coie has been known for being closely intertwined with the Democratic Party.

The fact that the warrant omitted that “Steele’s reporting was going to Clinton’s presidential campaign” was listed by the IG report as part of one of the “significant errors” in the warrant.

In his Dec. 23, 2019, Lawfare essay, Kris doubled down on his criticism of what he called Nunes’s “central claim,” but acknowledged that Nunes was correct on some of his other points.

In the essay, while acknowledging that the problems with the Page warrant were “serious,” he focused on the fact that the IG didn’t find “documentary or testimonial evidence” that the FBI initiated its investigation of the Trump campaign and the subsequent surveillance of Page and others out of bias.

In his congressional testimony, Horowitz made clear that he didn’t rule out bias, when questioned by Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho).

Crapo: If someone were to characterize what you are telling us to be—that you’re telling us there is no bias here—that’s not what you’re telling us?

Horowitz: That is not—as to the operation of these FISAs—what I’m telling you.

Kris didn’t respond to a request by The Epoch Times for comment that was sent to his law firm, Culper Partners.

New York City’s new bail reform law is so ridiculous that even alleged criminals are flabbergasted by the generosity bestowed upon them by Democrats.

By now, most have heard about the Jewish hate crime suspect arrested three times in less than a week, who attacked another woman the day after being released for attacking three Jewish women.

Now a suspected bank robber is in the news after allegedly knocking off four banks in a little over one week, only to be released without bail — only to allegedly rob yet another bank, his fifth, on Friday in Brooklyn.

“I can’t believe they let me out,” Woodberry reportedly said when released, according to what a source told the Post. “What were they thinking?”

Thanks to progressive Democrats, such as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, bank robbers who carry out their crime without a weapon are no longer bail eligible under the bail reform law that took effect Jan. 1, the paper reported.

Judges can no longer order most suspects charged with non-violent felonies to be held pending trial — which means that if Woodberry is arrested for the fifth heist, he will be released again.

Whether it’s a cunning tactic or dumb luck, Woodberry allegedly hands tellers a note rather than producing a weapon.

The new bail reform law is so ridiculous New York Police department Commissioner Dermot Shea took to social media to express his frustration.

“What motivation does this suspect have to return to court? None. This makes NYPD cops’ jobs harder, and makes New Yorkers less safe,” he tweeted, linking to the article by the New York Post.

Mayor de Blasio appeared on Fox News earlier this month and justified the taxpayer-funded benevolence, saying they’re “trying to get people out of crime and keep them out of crime.”

The mayor’s office reportedly intervened in the aforementioned case of the woman charged with attacking Jews because of the bad publicity the case drew, resulting in her being locked up in a psych ward.

Woodberry allegedly pulled four heists at Chase banks in Chelsea, the Upper West Side and the West Village between Dec. 30 and Jan. 8. Each time, he reportedly slipped a note demanding money to a teller — he got away with more than $1,000 in two banks and left empty-handed in the other two.

The fifth alleged robbery, at another Chase bank, Woodberry absconded with more than $1,000.

Was President Donald Trump’s short term campaign foreign policy volunteer Carter Page set up by an FBI informant or the informant’s handler at the FBI?

On the The Sara Carter Show, Page discussed the recent revelations in Department of Justice’s Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report and his interview in The Federalist where questions surfaced regarding his first meeting with Stefan Halper, one of the FBI’s spies in the Trump campaign.

Questions Linger

Questions still loom regarding Halper’s and his FBI handler. It appears that Horowitz’s report raises more answers than questions, said Page, who was not given the opportunity to review the report or discuss his circumstances with Horowitz. Page, who was an officer in the Navy and graduate from Annapolis Naval Academy, assisted intelligence and law enforcement, said all he ever wanted to was “to help his country.”

Unfortunately, Page became the target of some of very corrupted officials within the agencies he had assisted in the past. They did this to target President Donald Trump.

Based on information Page revealed to both The Federalist and The Sara Carter Show it appears that either Halper, or his FBI handler, didn’t tell the truth to Horowitz’s investigators about the circumstances surrounding Halper’s first meeting with Page.

Page told this reporter that the origination of his meeting with Halper must be investigated by Attorney General William Barr’s appointed prosecutor John Durham. Page would not tell this reporter whether or not he’s already been interviewed by Durham but said he has always stressed that he would “cooperate fully” with any investigation.

“The FBI and CIA definitely made some very serious very egregious mistakes, but, you know one of the primary drivers of this was the Democratic National Committee and their operatives,” said Page, referring to the DCN and Hillary Clinton campaign financing the debunked dossier through the private research firm Fusion GPS. Fusion GPS hired former British spy Christopher Steele to compile the now debunked dossier, which was the main source for leaking false information on Trump and Page to the media. The dossier’s information came from former Russian spies tied to Steele and suggested that Page was an asset of the Russian government, which was patently false.

“I’ve been very cautious,” said Page, regarding his concern over Halper’s contact with him. “I’ve been very meticulous, as you have been meticulous, Sara in your reporting. I wanna know for sure. I don’t point fingers at people until there is really some very solid evidence and it’s been firmly established that these things have actually happened.”

“Tip of the Iceberg”

Page, who has received numerous death threats since stories began leaking about him in 2016, told this reporter what the public knows is only “the tip of the iceberg.”

Page said he is “encouraged and appreciative that last month Inspector General Horowitz and his team started uncovering this, but there’s so much more and, to me, these life or death situations that the DNC disinformation campaign created for myself and so many other Trump supporters and volunteers on the Trump team that is a huge issue and I think some of the important revelations you’ve talked about and just mentioned are really the tip of the iceberg.”

Moreover, Horowitz discovered in the course of his investigation that FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith altered and omitted extensive information on Page when he submitted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to the secret court in order to spy on Page. The information Clinesmith omitted was that Page had been cleared by the CIA and that he had been assisting the CIA with information on Russians.

“You know, again, I had worked and supported the CIA and FBI for many years and so you know I had a long series of meetings about ten plus hours in March of 2017, just a couple months after the election,” said Page, regarding his meetings with Clinesmith in 2017. Clinesmith, along with other FBI agents, were well aware at the time that Page was being defamed by the media and that the disinformation being spread through main stream outlets was false.

Interview with The Federalist

During his interview with The Federalist, which listed out the FBI’s 17 significant inaccuracies or omissions in the secret federal surveillance applications, noted that the agents interviewed by the Inspector General reiterated that they launched the July, 31, 2016 Crossfire Hurricane probe and used Halper because of pure coincidences.

What? Really, they expect the public to buy this unbelievable explanation, he stated with regard to the knew information that was inaccurate in the IG report.

Let me explain, Halper’s handler told the IG that it was “serendipitous” that Halper, referred to in the IG report as Source 2, “had contacts with with three of their four subjects, including Carter Page.”

The FBI agents told Horowitz’s team that “couldn’t believe [their] luck.” Halper’s handler said it was during that time that he learned that his source, Halper, also knew Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort. The FBI source also asked Halper to target George Papadopolous and Sam Clovis, a senior campaign aide at the time.

“I hope we start getting some honest answers sometime soon,” he told me during the podcast. “We’ve got some honest answers in the Inspector General report, but it’s very incomplete and there are many inaccuracies in there.”

As for Page’s future and the next steps in his ongoing lawsuits to seek justice against some of the most powerful bureaucracies in the country:

“I’m definitely taking some important actions and I’ve got a great team of great legal experts who are helping me on that and I’ve been literally working round the clock with our team over the last several days and weeks and last couple of months,” said Page. “I think as you correctly alluded to I’ll have more to say on that real soon so stay tuned.”

With all the talk about Hunter Biden these days, one might get the impression that he is the only child of a politician to benefit from his parents’ position and the last name they inherited.

Before Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden, got his strange but lucrative deal to sit on the board of energy company Burisma Holdings in Ukraine to the tune of $50,000 a month, there was Chelsea Clinton, the only child of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She was similarly rewarded with jobs and board positions that had absolutely no relationship with that young woman’s interests, life, education or any perceived expertise.

All of this has racked up to what the New York Post reported back in 2015 was an estimated net worth of $15 million for the then-34-year-old. More recently, Barron’s, the finance newspaper, revealed that Chelsea Clinton has now reaped $9 million from a corporate board position. In 2011, while her mother was still secretary of state, she was appointed to IAC/Interactive, an Internet investment company. She receives an annual $50,000 retainer and $250,000 worth of restricted IAC stock units, according to Barron’s.

Ironically, and something the Clintons would be loathed to admit, they like most other American families benefitted from President Donald Trump’s leadership and correlating economic renaissance.

The Hill reported, “IAC stock has risen 89%, 50% and 36% in 2017, 2018 and 2019, respectively, a far steeper rise in the broader stock market.”

For time immemorial Americans have asked how it is that politicians manage to get filthy rich in “public service.” Now, their children are also getting rich riding those coattails and exposing just how money gets distributed among the swamp.

Consequently, Chelsea Clinton reported in December of last year her holdings ballooned to $8.95 million.

In 2017, Chelsea Clinton was also named to travel site Expedia’s Board of Directors. Because she’s a … business genius? A travel genius? An investment prodigy? The Hill reported that position “typically earned $250,000 in 2015. … Both IAC and Expedia are controlled by Barry Diller, the business and television mogul, who is a friend of Hillary Clinton.”

In 2011, the same year she joined the IAC board, Chelsea signed with NBC News as a “special correspondent.” Politico reported she was rewarded with $600,000 a year to do what ended up being occasional fluffy feature stories. The New York Post noted, “one was a creepy voiceover interview with the Geico gecko. Chelsea is such a special correspondent, she’s done just 14 stories in two years and seven months for a total of 58 minutes of airtime. …”

Vanity Fair crunched the numbers and found, after she parted ways with NBC News in 2014, she ended up making $26,724 per minute that she appeared on the network. But the corporate nepotism benefitting Chelsea Clinton wasn’t limited to Mrs. Clinton’s time as secretary of state and the lead-up to her doomed second run for president in 2016; it started much earlier — the lead-up to her doomed run for president in 2008.

According to Politico, Marc Lasry, a major Clinton Foundation donor, “employed Chelsea Clinton as a chemical industry analyst at his own hedge fund Avenue Capital Group from late 2006 until 2008. …” You read that right — she was a “chemical industry analyst.” Chelsea’s expertise with chemical issues would seem to be on the same level as Hunter Biden’s expertise with energy issues.At this rate we should be grateful that Chelsea hasn’t been “appointed” as a brain surgeon somewhere in New York City.

None of this should be surprising, as it is how the swamp has worked for years. The monumental irony is these same people who view this country and its people as a personal bank account have rarely created businesses themselves. Their “business” is the repository for your money — the federal government.

Ironically, Mr. Trump and his family are constantly being accused by Democrats and their swamp allies of using their positions to get rich. This, despite the fact that they created their own wealth in the private sector.

Mr. Trump’s personal wealth has declined, in fact, during his service as president. As one example, an NBC News headline in October 2018 noted, “Trump has lost $1 billion in personal wealth since running for president; Some wealthy patrons are steering clear of Trump properties, saying the country club experience is now ruined ‘by metal detectors and bomb-sniffing dogs.’ “

Mr. Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka’s thriving fashion business was the target of the left, and it was eventually shuttered. And in October of last year, one Trump project making money enraged the Democratic establishment. For the left, you see, making money is only for those who don’t earn it.

In October 2019, it was announced that the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C., was for sale. CBS News reported, “‘People are objecting to us making so much money on the hotel and therefore we may be willing to sell,’ Eric Trump, an executive vice president of the Trump Organization, told the AP in a statement. ‘Since we opened our doors, we have received tremendous interest in this hotel and as real-estate developers, we are always willing to explore our options.’ “

The political reformation is in full force throughout this country. One of the many reasons the old guard loathes Mr. Trump is because he has exposed corruption throughout the system. The United States being the private piggy bank for “next in line” family dynasties is threatened. Will those board seats, and “special correspondent” jobs for the offspring of politicians dry up when there is no more influence to be bought? We shall see.

Cops call for arrest of Rep. Omar after armed Iranian national captured at Mar-a-Lago

In Palm Beach, FL Friday morning, an Iranian national was arrested about four miles from President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago presidential retreat.

The man, identified as Masoud Yareioeill Zoleh on his passport, was armed with several knives, a machete and a pickax. Zoleh was arrested at Bradley Park, which is on the east end of the Flagler Memorial Bridge, according to Palm Beach police spokesman Michal Ogrodnick.

Police responded to a call at around 9:30 a.m. and found Zoleh, who also had $22,000 on him and had a car parked at the Palm Beach International Airport.

What might be most troubling about the entire thing is that just days ago, “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar called for Iran to go after Trump properties. Now that a real threat has been identified, cops around the country are calling for her to be arrested for inciting potential violence and threatening national security.

A Daily News photographer who was on the scene saw Zoleh being taken into custody by three Palm Beach police officers, along with two plainclothes officers whom he was told were from another agency. The man also had camping gear on him, according to the photographer. The Palm Beach Post published photos of the arrest.

The arrest on Friday morning came just days after Iran shot approximately twelve ballistic missiles at military bases in Iraq that house U.S. troops. This was in response to the United States airstrike that took out terrorist mastermind Qassem Soleimani, who was the head of the Iranian Quds Force, just outside Baghdad International Airport.

President Trump ordered the airstrike and taking out of Soleimani after U.S. intelligence sources developed information that Soleimani was planning terrorist activities against the United States embassy in Baghdad, as well as other countries.

Last week, insurgents attacked the embassy in Iraq, an attack that was subsequently repelled by a U.S. show of force, unlike what happened in Benghazi, Libya under the Obama administration.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, appearing on the Ingraham Angle on Fox News said Thursday that Soleimani was planning “a series of imminent attacks” when he was killed.

“We don’t know precisely when—and we don’t know precisely where—but it was real. There was a real opportunity here and there was a real necessity here. We made the right decision. The president made the right call.”

Pompeo also backed President Trump’s claim that the multi-billion-dollar payoff made to Iran by the Obama administration likely helped provide the resources that Iran used to launch the attack on the military bases.

“All the things that we are now confronting are a direct result of the resources that the regime had available as a result of that terrible nuclear deal,” Pompeo said.

On Wednesday, President Trump, in an address to the nation, which occurred the morning after the Iranian attack, said, “The missiles fired last night at us and our allies were paid for with the funds made available by the last administration.”

In September 2016, the Treasury Department acknowledged that $1.7 billion was transferred from the U.S. to Iran in foreign hard currency. An initial $400 million was sent to Tehran Jan. 17, the same day Iran released four American prisoners.

The remaining $1.3 billion was paid over a period of a few weeks. The initial payment was settlement of a 37-7ear-old dispute between the two countries over a $400 million payment made by the Shah of Iran, who was exiled during the embassy attack in 1979.

The U.S. also released billions of dollars in assets which belonged to Iran that were held in financial institutions around the world. This was basically all a bribe so that Iran would terminate its nuclear program, which it has continued in basically a move thumbing their nose at the United States.

The move was widely criticized, especially by Republicans who claimed that it showed weakness on the part of Obama. No real surprise there.

The timing of the latest incident comes on the heels of Congressman Ilhan Omar’s not so subtle suggestion in a tweet that the president’s properties worldwide might be a target.

“Trump needs to immediately divest from his businesses and comply with the emoluments clause. Iran could threaten Trump hotels “worldwide” and he could provoke war over the loss of revenue from skittish guests.

His business interests should not be driving military decision.”

Well, alrighty then. For someone who constantly uses terms like “dog-whistling”, this sure the heck seems like a not so veiled suggestion to Iraq that maybe Trump’s properties might be an attractive target.

Omar has made it quite clear that she throws down with America’s enemies. She also gained a little bit of controversy (shocker there) on Wednesday, when during a press conference, she said that the ongoing conflict with Iran have left her feeling “’a little bit ill’ because of everything that is taking place.”

“And I think every time I hear about—I hear conversations around war, I find myself being stricken with PTSD. And I find peace knowing that I serve with great advocates for peace and people who have shown courage against war,” Omar continued.

PTSD?? Is this nut serious? She suffers from PTSD because a known terrorist was taken out and Iran “responded” by tossing a few missiles at rather harmless targets in Iraq?

This is a tremendous disservice to the brave men and women in our armed forces, who have seen and done things in their lives that would have her running and hiding under her bed. What a pure, unadulterated insult to our military.

During the same conference, after her “PTSD” had calmed down, Omar was seen laughing and giggling, talking to other Democrat colleagues while Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was talking about U.S. troops killed in war.

Rather than stand silently behind Lee as she spoke and actually showing her some respect, she actually became the center of attention when she began her laughing charade and turning around to speak to the other women Democrats on the stage.

Her stunt did not go unnoticed. Twitter lit up with people criticizing Omar for carrying on like a twelve-year-old school child while Lee was speaking.

In the past, when men and women of our military were in harm’s way, politicians at least supported them. They may not have supported their mission, or may not have supported the president, but they always stood behind our brave men and women in the military.

Not this bunch.

The so-called “squad” have shown that they are un-American and do not have the best interests of our country in mind, only their interest in pandering to the small constituency of brain-dead voters that elected them in the first place.

Exclusive: Border Patrol Circulates Intel Alert Titled ‘Suspected Suicide Bomber en Route to the U.S.’

Authorities along the U.S. border are on alert after receiving a law enforcement intelligence warning about a possible suicide bomber heading north toward the U.S.-Mexico Border. Breitbart obtained an exclusive copy of the leaked official document from a source operating under the umbrella of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The official report was circulated to law enforcement partners along the U.S. border, the intelligence originated from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the report was circulated by Border Patrol Intelligence. Breitbart confirmed the authenticity of the document with multiple law enforcement sources; however, the details contained within the report have not been verified by Breitbart and the purpose of officials circulating the warning is to alert other authorities and to seek help in verifying the accuracy of the information.

The report being authentic does not verify that a suicide bomber is actually headed toward the U.S.-Mexico Border, but rather that such intelligence was received from a credible source or sources.

According to the document, on January 8, 2020, the Yuma Sector Operations Center received information from HSI about a previously deported Guatemalan national named “…” who is allegedly leading a group of four Middle Eastern males and one female to the U.S. from Mexico. The female is described as a “suspected suicide bomber.”

The report stated that according to HSI, the group already traveled through Guatemala, Belize, and is currently in Veracruz, Mexico. The described group is expected to travel to San Luis Rio Colorado in the Mexican state of Sonora, just south of Arizona.

“HSI reported they received information the group will be making entry into the U.S. through the All-American Canal in the next couple of days,” the report revealed. The All-American Canal is located in California.

Breitbart redacted contact information and images from the official report, as well as the name of the alleged individual accused of leading the group.
